This course emphasized the study of two- and three-dimensional figures and their properties. Deductive and inductive reasoning as well as investigative strategies in drawing conclusions are stressed. Properties and relationships among geometric objects include the study of points, lines, angles, and planes; polygons, with a special focus on quadrilaterals, triangles, right angles, and right triangle trigonometry; circles; and polyhedra and other solids.
