Students will develop their non-fiction writing skills in this class.  Students will read and analyze a variety of essays by classic and contemporary writers, using these - as well as other reading sources - a jumping-off points for their own essays.  Students will also learn essential research skills and use these skills in preparing and executing a short research paper.
