Legislation regarding the entrance requirements for K and 1st Grade Students:
Students entering kindergarten must have reached the age of five years on or before October 1 of the school year in which they enroll. Students entering 1st grade must have reached the age of six years on or before October 1 of the school year in which they enroll.
